NIKO GREEN is an agri-food processing company established to add value to agricultural products from COPAD cooperatives, reduce post-harvest losses, and create jobs for young people.
It primarily processes:
- fruit juices and related products,
- cereal flours (including whole-grain flour and porridge flour),
- dried mushrooms.
NIKO GREEN is the second link in the value chain driven by NIKO SEED.
How It Works
NIKO GREEN works closely with the fruit producer and collector groups overseen by COPAD.
Upon receiving the fruit, she processes it into juice and other products, then supplies them to the cooperative store managed by the NIKO CENTER groups.
As a result, NIKO GREEN links COPAD’s supply chain with the distribution handled by NIKO CENTER, creating a seamless and efficient value chain.
Contribution by NIKO GREEN
NIKO GREEN, supported by NIKO SEED, creates real value for women and young people by:
- creating jobs for young people leaving the school system,
- contributing to the national economy through the collection of taxes and fees,
- improving consumers' well-being through high-quality products.
It also provides students in the industrial and agri-food programs with easier access to internships and equips them with the skills needed to launch their own small-scale processing projects.
Our beneficiaries
1. Groups of young processors
NIKO GREEN supports groups of young people passionate about food processing at its production facility.
2. Single-Mother Groups
NIKO GREEN supports vulnerable teenage mothers, who are often rejected by those around them, by providing them with guidance and a path to financial independence.
3. Groups of Trainees
Every year, NIKO GREEN welcomes interns from schools for hands-on training in artisanal, industrial, and agri-food techniques.
The goal: to make them competitive, capable of starting their own micro-businesses and creating their own jobs.
Link 2 - Agri-Food Processing
In this second phase, NIKO GREEN is providing training to youth and women’s groups in food processing techniques.
The goal is to create jobs, strengthen the local artisanal industry, and add value to agricultural products.
